I like mix of both not that very modern which is boring and not that fancy. which one do you like better and why?.. what are your opinions?..

I have just bought some gorgeous bamboo birdcages from the rubbish dump near me. I know that birdcages are used quite a lot in interior design. I don’t have any birds so I want to use the cages to decorate my flat. Only problem is, it is quite a modern flat with a red, cream and light wood. Lots of clean cut edges, etc. so although I love them loads I’m struggling to get them to fit in. Any tips and especially pictures and links, to give me inspiration and ideas of what to do with them, would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone has any websites where i can find pictures of contemporary/modern bedrooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. … i’m trying to design my new home and i want ideas… thank you

There are so many styles of interior design. Such as: Contemporary, Mediterranean, Eclectic, Modern and Old World. Which style…if any…would this fall in to? I’m wanting to decorate my front two rooms in wrought iron, mirrors and candles.
Good point Mikey! The flooring is a light beige carpet (already there when we moved in). I’m getting the walls ready to be painted. For the South wall in each room I chose a rust color and the rest of the walls will be a golden yellow. The furniture is just mix match furniture. In the future I hope to get everything to match.

I’m looking for a recommendation for a book about Mid-Century-Modern furniture and interior design.

having a hard time to choose

In Belgium, I saw many furniture stores owned by Turkish inmigrants, and they seem to be mixed-influence, with oriental style sofas and modern style sofas. And it seems that everyone has carpets at home.
But I just don’t know how the average Turkish people arrange their home.
Do they like modern design ? What about the lightings ?

What are the preferences of Turkish people, regarding interior design ?

Which magazines or online sites are specialized on apartment interior design?. I just bought a new apartment and I really love interior design, I am 25 years old so I am looking for minimalistic, modern styles.
