There are so many things that are needed to make us feel as a complete human being. Those things are shown by our needs. These needs have some levels. From the very beginning, there are only physical necessities, for example food and sex. But then, it leveled up to the need for psychological such as needs for the sense of security and loves (to love and to be loved). Somewhere after those needs, we will find the need for aesthetic experience.

For some people today’s world has set the need for aesthetic as the first need. Why? Since so many products are made for the sake of human’s appearance, for example hair treatment, skin treatment, dental treatment, etc. We can see so many of them in all kinds of media, the Internet, TV, Magazines, through the advertising.

In the higher level of aesthetic need through our appearance, there is also something that is not meant for body treatment, it is used worn. Though there are s may kinds of things that people wear, the most exclusive and expensive one is usually formed in jewelry. The most common material that is used in jewelry is precious metal such as gold and sterling silver.

Jewelry that is made from precious metal can be formed in many usages. Some examples of the fom are silver earrings, silver bracelet, silver necklace, silver rings, etc. besides by precious metal, there are also jewelry that are made by natural materials such as bone, wood, stone, etc. Those are usually worn by certain traditional tribes.
