What is the best product to use on antique furniture?
I just bought an antique bedroom set. What would be the best product to use to clean and protect the wood. I have some Murphys oil soap, has anyone ever used this product?

Murphy’s is good, however I find that Howard Feed-N-Wax wood preserver gets off grime like nothing else.
hi. i’ve never used murphy’s oil soap before, no. what i use is a spray that you can get which is a mixture of beeswax, linseed oil, and some type of nut oil for memory. i found it at the supermarket. the beauty of beeswax as it seems to fill in any scratches or imperfections on wooden furniture and make it look like new. the spray type dispensers give it an even coverage too so you dont end up with too much on. the smell is really nice too – not too overpowering, but pleasant enough to use on bedroom furniture.
good luck
Murphy’s Oil is good for cleaning. Howard’s is good for maintaining. Also Cotton Cleanser.
