What is the best place to sell antique furniture?

My mom has an antique bedroom set we have been trying to get rid of on ebay with no luck. I’m wondering if there is anyplace where we might have better luck of getting rid of it at. It’s in really good condition we just have no use for it.

look up antique stores and sell it to them or try an auction. fyi- people usually don’t buy furniture on e-bay cause they have to pay to ship it.

This is a tough one unless it is really special then you are going to be stuck with this.
Ebay will never fetch you good money for large items unless you can deliver at reasonable cost.

The shops are all struggling at the moment and can pick and chose the best.

Most people don’t want this kind of furniture anymore I have just built a walk in myself and so no longer need mine.

You have to think upmarket (people wise) and advertise in the type of area they live.
They still seem to like traditional furniture I deliver it to them for a living!!
and they do not live on estates so get yourself up to knob hill with a bunch of colour adds they love a bargain.

You should try craigslist and other similar advertising sites.

I would ask the Community at “I Antique Online”
They have around 2000 members who buy, sell or collect antiques and art. You will get more specialized feedback this way.
